According to rescuers, the accident occurred on a local road between the villages of Zaluzhzhya and Makaryovo in Mukachevo district. Preliminarily, a PAZ-3205 passenger bus en route Mukachevo - Barbovo drove off the road into a ditch and turned upside down.
"At the time of the accident, there were 25 passengers in the cabin, of whom 9 were hospitalized by emergency medical teams to the Mukachevo Central District Hospital named after St. Martin," the statement said.
The police are currently investigating all the circumstances of the accident.
