In temporarily occupied Sevastopol, Ai-92 and Ai-95 gasoline began to be sold only by coupons due to the rapid depletion of daily fuel stocks at gas stations. This was reported by the BBC with reference to the Russian-appointed "governor" of the city, Mikhail Razvozhayev, UNN reports.
Details
According to Razvozhayev, the sale of fuel at the TES network gas stations began at 7:00 AM, but the limit set for the day was sold out within a few hours. After that, it was decided to release Ai-92 and Ai-95 gasoline exclusively by coupons. Additionally, a restriction on the sale of fuel in canisters remains in effect in the city—no more than 20 liters per person.
The occupation authorities urged residents to use personal transport only when absolutely necessary. Officially, the reasons for the fuel shortage have not been named.
Occupied territories complain about logistics problems
As the BBC notes, in recent months, Ukrainian forces have intensified strikes on Russian oil refineries and logistics facilities. Furthermore, according to journalists, drone attacks have increased along the so-called land corridor to Crimea through the occupied regions of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia oblasts.
Earlier, the Russian-appointed head of the occupation administration of the Zaporizhzhia region, Yevgeny Balitsky, also urged citizens not to use the R-280 highway, which connects Rostov-on-Don with Crimea, unless absolutely necessary.
