Ukraine's Ambassador-at-Large for Cooperation with Belarusian Democratic Forces, Yaroslav Chornogor, allows for a possible Ukrainian meeting with Belarusian ruler Alexander Lukashenko if it would save lives, as he stated in an interview with Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, reports UNN.

"There is a category of values, and there is a category of survival. If, during the war, there is a need to reduce the number of human casualties or stop the hostilities altogether—and for this the President of Ukraine or someone from Ukraine's state officials would need to meet with one opponent or another, or with a representative of the opposing side—then such actions may possibly be taken," Chornogor answered when asked whether Ukraine allows for a meeting with Putin, and whether Kyiv allows that there may be reason to meet with Lukashenko as well.
"I am not saying that this will necessarily happen. But if the price of this meeting is worth meeting, in particular for the sake of preserving human lives, anything is possible," the ambassador emphasized.
