American conservative activist, blogger, and supporter of U.S. President Donald Trump, Laura Loomer, said she experienced an air raid alert in Ukraine and felt panic at the sound of the sirens. She wrote about this on social media platform X, reports UNN.

According to Loomer, she was woken up by the air raid alert, which caused her to feel intense fear.
"I was just woken up by an air raid siren in Ukraine. I felt genuine panic when I woke up to the sirens from sleep. My heart was pounding, and it took me a while to catch my breath because this loud sound really scared me," she wrote.
Loomer also noted that after her own experience, she finds it hard to imagine how Ukrainians live under constant air raid alerts.
"I don't know how people wake up to sirens almost every night for five years. It's like being woken up by a loudspeaker. Honestly, this sound is very frightening. I don't think it can be healthy for the nervous system to hear it every day," she added.
