Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stated that Iran is an accomplice in Russian aggression. He added that Iran is trying to divert attention from Russia's terror in the Black Sea.

Iran's threats are unjustified and baseless. The regime in Tehran is a direct accomplice in Russia's aggression against Ukraine. This was emphasized by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andrii Sybiha, reports UNN.

Iran's threats are unjustified and baseless. The regime in Tehran is a direct accomplice in Russia's aggression against Ukraine, fueling Moscow's criminal war with weapons that have been killing Ukrainians since 2022. Iran has no right to play the victim, let alone justify its threats with absurd references to the UN Charter

- Sybiha stated.

The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine added that with its statements, Iran is also trying to divert the world community's attention from Russia's terror against civilian navigation in the Black Sea, which threatens global food security. But these attempts will not succeed.

Russian attacks on freedom of navigation will be the focus of today's urgent meeting of the UN Security Council, and we expect a decisive response from the international community

- Sybiha summarized.
