The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the criteria for heat suppliers and water utilities whose debts can be restructured. In particular, enterprises whose infrastructure has been destroyed or damaged can take advantage of the right to restructure their debt. This was stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a government meeting, reports UNN.

"We are approving the criteria for heat suppliers and water utilities whose debts can be restructured. In particular, this right will be granted to enterprises whose infrastructure has been destroyed or damaged by the enemy and which are located in the territory of active hostilities. We also prescribe the algorithm for submitting an application for debt restructuring. This will reduce the debt burden on critical infrastructure enterprises in the frontline territories for the successful passage of the heating season", - said Shmyhal.
Also, according to him, almost 100% of all objects - residential buildings, hospitals, schools, kindergartens - are currently connected to heat.
"Problematic points are Kherson, which suffers from enemy shelling, and Kryvyi Rih. Active repair and restoration work is underway in these cities", - added Shmyhal.

The government's representative in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk, reported in Telegram that the government had approved the criteria for determining heat supply and heat generating organizations, centralized water supply and sewerage enterprises that have the right to defer the repayment of debt under debt restructuring agreements.
"It is envisaged that the right to defer the repayment of debt under the concluded debt restructuring agreements is granted to heat supply and heat generating organizations, centralized water supply and sewerage enterprises whose production capacities: as a result of military (combat) actions, have been destroyed, which does not allow to carry out the main activity on the territory of the relevant oblast or territorial community; as a result of military (combat) actions, have been damaged or damaged, which does not allow to carry out the main activity on the territory of the relevant oblast or territorial community; are located in the territories of active military (combat) actions, which does not allow to carry out the main activity on the territory of the relevant oblast or territorial community", - reported Melnychuk.

The Verkhovna Rada has adopted in general a bill that provides that the powers of the Debt Agency of Ukraine will be exercised by the Ministry of Finance, which will allow to obtain a loan of $50 billion from the G7, and will also allow not to repay this loan if it does not receive reparations from the Russian Federation.
