The government has agreed to dismiss the head of the Kyiv RMA Ruslan Kravchenko and the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration Filipp Pronin. This was reported on Saturday by the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk, reports UNN.
As Melnychuk pointed out, the dismissal of the following has been agreed:
- Ruslan Andriyovych Kravchenko from the position of the head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration;
- Filipp Yevhenovych Pronin from the position of the head of the Poltava Regional State Administration.
Addition
Earlier, the media reported that Ruslan Kravchenko will be the new Prosecutor General instead of the dismissed Andriy Kostin.
"He is a compromise figure who can be pushed through parliament," a Radio NV source said.
Another source said that the candidacy of Kravchenko has long been considered in the OP, since the candidacy of the current head of the Odesa RSA "Oleh Kiper will not gather votes in parliament". At the same time, the head of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) Pavlo Kyrylenko, who, according to the source, was previously planned for this position in the OP, is now accused of illegal enrichment.
Add
The candidacy of the next head of the Office of the Prosecutor General still has to be considered by the relevant law enforcement committee of the parliament.
Earlier, the media had already named Ruslan Kravchenko as the main contender for this position.
On October 22, Andriy Kostin, after a meeting of the NSDC on the situation with the MSEC, stated that he had resigned. He noted that he supports the president's position on political responsibility.
