France and Greece have extended their defense pact, strengthening their alliance at a time when European countries are seeking to further bolster their deterrence strategy. The governments of both countries also signed a number of other agreements to further enhance cooperation in areas such as foreign policy, as well as a joint declaration of intent to establish cooperation in the field of nuclear technologies.
