Law enforcement officers in the Lviv region are investigating the sexual exploitation of a minor in an erotic massage parlor in the city of Lviv. The perpetrators are two sisters - residents of the Zhytomyr region, aged 31 and 34. This was reported by UNN with reference to the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in the Lviv Region.
Details
According to the investigation, the perpetrators organized a so-called "erotic massage" parlor in the city's historic center. There, clients received paid sexual services - a minor girl was involved in the criminal activity.
During the searches, law enforcement discovered and seized handwritten records, communication devices, electronic media, and other physical evidence of their illegal activities. The searches were conducted at the sisters' residences and on the premises of the parlor where the crimes were committed.
The older of the detained sisters, who involved the minor in the criminal activity, was served a notice of suspicion for committing a crime under Part 2 of Article 149 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Human Trafficking). The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment from five to twelve years, with or without confiscation of property.
Additionally, both detained sisters were served notices of suspicion for committing crimes under Part 3 of Article 302 (Creation or maintenance of dens of debauchery and procuration) and Part 2 of Article 303 (Pimping or involvement of a person in prostitution) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of these articles carries a maximum penalty of seven years' imprisonment.
