A Finnish citizen who helped the Ukrainian Armed Forces in its defense against Russian invaders was killed in Ukraine. This is reported by Yle with reference to the Association of Finnish Combatants, UNN reports .

According to the Association, a volunteer from Finland died in mid-July north of the temporarily occupied Donetsk.
The Association learned about the tragedy from a relative of the deceased volunteer. The Finnish authorities also confirmed the fact of his death.
It is noted that this is the fourth volunteer from Finland to die in Ukraine.
