Defense Minister Rustem Umerov emphasized the urgent need to strengthen our air defense, increase the number of air defense batteries and missiles. The parties exchanged views on future supplies of air defense equipment to Ukraine. It is important that our soldiers receive new installations from our partners as soon as possible.

Special attention was paid to the US support for Ukraine's energy security. Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko informed the audience about the consequences of Russian attacks on energy infrastructure and Ukraine's needs in this area. They discussed the protection of Ukraine's energy system, the accelerated introduction of distributed generation, and the provision of backup power to Ukraine's critical infrastructure, especially in the context of preparing for the coming winter.

Andriy Yermak emphasized the strong and unwavering partnership between Ukraine and the United States.
