Ukraine has received 88 billion euros in aid from the EU and its member states for more than two years of full-scale war. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a joint press statement with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, UNN reports.

In the more than 2 years since the beginning of the Russian invasion, we have received a total of 88 billion euros in aid from the EU and its member states

- Shmyhal said.

He noted that about half of these funds are used to support the budget and humanitarian aid.

"These funds have enabled us to maintain macro-financial stability and resilience, provided us with the resources to cover the most important budget expenditures and help millions of our citizens," Shmyhal said.
