Border guards from the "Revenge" brigade repelled the occupiers' offensive in the Bakhmut direction. The soldiers destroyed an enemy column and several units of Russian equipment. This is reported by UNN with reference to the press service of the State Border Guard Service.

Border guards thwarted a Russian offensive in the Bakhmut sector. At dawn, the enemy tried to storm the positions of the border guards of the "Revenge" brigade using two tanks and five armored personnel carriers. The enemy convoy was stopped, a tank 64, an armored personnel carrier 82 and about 10 Russian infantry were destroyed
The SBGS added that the rest of the occupiers were killed by night bombers and artillery. Eventually, the remnants of Russian attack aircraft fled the battlefield.
The published video shows how Ukrainian artillery and kamikaze drones are firing on the occupiers' troops.

Nazar Voloshyn, a spokesman for the Khortytsia unit, said that the Russian occupiers are focusing their efforts on breaking through the Ukrainian defense west of Bakhmut, but have not yet managed to cross the Siverskyi Donets-Donbas canal.
