Ukraine has technically agreed on the conditions for the evacuation of six thousand people from the Oleshky area. Now, a ceasefire date is awaited from the Russian side, stated Dmytro Lubinets.

Ukraine has technically agreed on all conditions for the evacuation of civilians from the Oleshky district in the Kherson region and surrounding settlements. This was stated by the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets, during a conversation with Ukrainian media, UNN reports.

Details

According to Lubinets, approximately six thousand Ukrainian citizens, including about 200 children, are currently surviving in Oleshky and the surrounding settlements.

"We held negotiations on May 15. This concerns not only the evacuation from Oleshky. We named several settlements—effectively those around Oleshky. As of today, we have technically discussed all issues. We are waiting for a date from the Russian side for when the ceasefire process will be launched and the physical evacuation will begin,"

The Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets, stated that the humanitarian situation is deteriorating in occupied Oleshky and neighboring settlements on the left bank of the Kherson region. Residents report shortages of drinking water, food, medicine, and interruptions in electricity supply.
