The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, has signed an order to scale up the collection, processing, and preservation of information regarding violations of international humanitarian law by Russian occupation forces. This was reported by UNN with reference to Syrskyi's post on Telegram.
Details
According to Syrskyi, this document normatively establishes unified standards for the operational process of recording data on war crimes discovered during the execution of combat and special missions, as well as the procedure for documenting this information in the "Delta Integration Platform" system.
The Military Law Enforcement Service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be responsible for coordination. The Directorate for Documenting Violations of the Law of Armed Conflict will operate within its structure.
Every Russian war crime will be recorded. Every piece of evidence—preserved. Every criminal—identified. We must record information about every war crime. About every fact. About every piece of evidence. All of this is a digital evidentiary base for the court. We must record information about every war crime. About every fact. About every piece of evidence.
