Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney spoke with Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo. According to the Prime Minister's Office, Carney announced Canada's plan to "fight unfair trade practices" by the United States.

In light of the challenges ahead, Prime Minister Carney and President Shanebaum stressed the importance of protecting North America's competitiveness while respecting the sovereignty of each nation
