Ukraine can freely use tanks and armored vehicles provided by Canada on the territory of Russia, the Ministry of National Defense of Canada said on Thursday, CBC News reports, UNN reports.

According to CBC News, Canada has provided eight Leopard 2A4 tanks, several dozen armored combat support vehicles and hundreds of armored patrol vehicles, as well as several M-777 howitzers.
Footage shot by CNN on Thursday along the Ukrainian border shows a Canadian-made Senator patrol car crossing into Russia.
"Ukrainians know best how to defend their homeland, and we are ready to support their potential," said Defense Ministry spokeswoman Andre-Anne Poulin in a statement to the media.
"Canada does not impose geographical restrictions on the use of military equipment that we provide to Ukraine," she added.
According to Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrsky, as of Thursday, August 15, the Ukrainian Armed Forces took control of 82 settlements and advanced 35 kilometers, controlling over a thousand square kilometers of Russian territory.
