The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the appointment of Tymur Tkachenko, who was dismissed from the post of head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, as head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration. This was reported by the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Taras Melnychuk, reports UNN.

Also, as Melnychuk reported, the government dismissed Oleksandr Borniakov from the post of First Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, and Serhii Naumenko from the post of Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

On July 16, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed Tymur Tkachenko from the post of head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, which he had headed since December 2024.
Tkachenko will replace the head of the KOVA Mykola Kalashnyk, who headed the Ministry of Restoration, Infrastructure and Transport.
