Three children could have been injured near Kyiv due to the burning of dry grass, they were rescued by firefighters, UNN reports with reference to the State Emergency Service.

A fire broke out in the village of Kolonshchyna, in the Buchanskyi district, due to the burning of dry grass. Due to strong gusts of wind, the fire was already approaching residential buildings.
During the extinguishing, rescuers found three frightened children - 11, 5 and 4 years old - in one of the yards: the children were fussing, screaming and could not leave the danger zone on their own.
Rescuers immediately evacuated the children to a safe place. No one was injured. The fire was extinguished.
