Kyiv customs officers transferred three cores — flint blanks from which prehistoric people made tools — to the Ovruch Region History Museum in Zhytomyr region. The artifacts have cultural and historical value.

It is noted that in ancient times, sharp blades were chipped off them and then used as stone tools, including knives.
These artifacts belong to materials of the archaeological cultures of late prehistory — the period of the "Neolithic–Bronze Age," approximately the 6th–2nd millennia BC.
The cores are authentic and originated in the northwestern and western parts of Ukraine. The largest of them is 15 cm long.
The transfer of cultural valuables to the state section of the Museum Fund of Ukraine is carried out by decision of the Expert and Museum Fund Council under the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine.
