An exposition dedicated to athletes who died during the war in Ukraine has been installed in Parliament Square in London. This was reported by UNN with reference to the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine.

It is noted that the exhibition was installed with the support of the British government, the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, and the Sports Committee of Ukraine.
The horrifying number “487” appears on the 3D display - the approximate number of Ukrainian athletes who died in the war as of early July 2024.
Around the display are sports props. They recreate some of the sports played by a number of the 487 athletes who died. The exhibition reminds us of the devastating consequences of war
