Enemy troops fired 36 times at the border areas and settlements of Sumy region, causing 59 explosions. This was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration, UNN reports.

Khotyn, Bilopil, Krasnopil, Trostyanets, Velykopysariv, Shalyhyne, Esman, Shostka and Znob-Novgorod communities came under fire.
The Shostka community was hit by rocket attacks, and in Khotyn community, the enemy attacked with an FPV drone and mortars, damaging a car. In Krasnopilska community, Russians used drones to drop explosives and FPV drones. Similar attacks took place in the Velykopysarivska and Shalyhinska communities, where, in addition to drones, the enemy used artillery and mortars.
Rocket attacks were recorded in the Trostyanets community, and mortar attacks in the Esman, Bilopil and Znob-Novgorod communities. Despite the constant shelling, Ukrainian defenders and emergency services continue to work, fixing damage and helping the victims.
