According to preliminary data, a gas pipeline rupture occurred. High-pressure gas continues to escape and burn.
The area around the scene has been cordoned off. Emergency services are working on-site. The issue of evacuating residents from nearby houses is currently being decided.

Three explosions occurred on a main gas pipeline with a diameter of 1200 mm in Dagestan, according to the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. 25 personnel and 7 units of equipment have been deployed.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations later clarified that the explosion occurred between the settlements of Bavtugay and Gelbakh in the Kizilyurtovsky district on the Mozdok — Kazimagomed main gas pipeline.
More than 100 people have been evacuated from Kizilyurt, authorities reported. There is currently no information regarding casualties.
