On Friday, French police arrested a man who threatened to blow himself up at the Iranian consulate in Paris. Around 11 a.m., the man was seen entering the consulate with a grenade-like object and an explosive vest. Police cordoned off the area. The man later left the consulate and a search revealed that he was not carrying any explosives
It is noted that, according to several witnesses, the man dragged flags across the floor of the consulate and said that he wanted to avenge the death of his brother.
