Employees of the State Bureau of Investigation detained an officer of one of the district Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Centers in Ivano-Frankivsk region who, while intoxicated, beat a serviceman. This was reported by UNN, citing the SBI.

According to the investigation, the victim was a 45-year-old soldier from Lviv. He was injured on the premises of the Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center as a result of the actions of the deputy company commander.
The investigation also established that the blow was inflicted by a senior lieutenant—it happened in the middle of the night.
He arrived at the Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center while intoxicated and decided to "discipline" the soldier, who was on duty at the time. At the same time, he humiliated his subordinate, demonstrated his superiority, and used physical force against him
The victim suffered a closed rupture of the left acromioclavicular joint and was taken to hospital for surgery.
The officer’s intoxication was confirmed by witnesses and the results of the examination—"0.69 parts per mille of alcohol"
The detainee was notified of suspicion of exceeding authority or official powers by a military service official, committed under martial law (Part 5 of Article 426-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The article carries a penalty of up to 12 years in prison.
