The British prodigy Bodhana Sivanandan showed a sensational result at the European Blitz Championship, winning the prize for the best result among women. This is reported by the English Chess Federation, UNN reports.

In her penultimate round, Sivanandan defeated international master and England women's coach Lauryn D'Costa, who is more than 30 years older than her.
She also defeated Romanian chess player Irina Bulmaga, who admitted it on her X page.
An incredible result by an 8-year-old girl, Bodhana, who drew in the last round of the European Blitz Championship with 8.5 points/13, winning 1st place among women, ahead of me and a bunch of other experienced players! What a phenomenon she is!!!
Shivanandan took 73rd place in the overall standings of this weekend's tournament, ahead of several grandmasters and other recognized masters.
She scored 8.5/13 points and won the first prize among women. A total of 555 players took part in the event, including 48 grandmasters.
