Since the beginning of the day on December 28, 149 combat engagements have taken place at the front. In the Kursk region, Ukrainian defenders repelled nine enemy attacks today, and one battle is currently underway. It is noted that the Russian invaders engaged 765 kamikaze drones and carried out almost 3,800 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements.

The situation on the routes:
On the Kharkiv direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units near Vovchansk three times without success.
In the Kupyansk sector, the aggressor conducted offensive actions near Hlushkivka and Lozova. Ukrainian troops stopped three enemy attacks. Another firefight is ongoing.
In the Liman sector, Russian invaders attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 19 times near Hrekivka, Pershotravneve, Nadiya, Tverdokhlibove, Kopanky, Novoyehorivka, Novoplatonivka and Makiivka. Four firefights are still ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy attacked our positions near Stupochky and Chasovyi Yar 14 times. Two firefights are ongoing.
In the Toretsk sector, our troops repelled three enemy attacks in the area of Toretsk and Shcherbynivka. Two more engagements are ongoing.
In the Pokrovske sector, since the beginning of the day, the enemy attacked 48 times in the areas of Zelene Pole, Vovkove, Novoyelizavetivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Dachenske, Zelene, Pokrovsk, Novyi Trud, Pervyi May and Shevchenko. Our defenders repelled 30 attacks. 18 attacks are ongoing.
According to preliminary data, Ukrainian troops neutralized 425 occupants in this sector today, 201 of them were killed. Two armored combat vehicles and seven vehicles were destroyed, and one armored combat vehicle was damaged
In the Kurakhove sector, the enemy made 17 attempts to break through our defenses near Petropavlivka, Ukrainka, Kurakhove and Dachne. Eleven combat engagements were completed, six more are still ongoing.
In the Vremivsk sector, the enemy attacked our units 11 times near Kostiantynopilske, Velyka Novosilka and Vremivka. One battle is still ongoing.
On the Prydniprovsky direction, our troops repelled one attack, the enemy was not successful.

Occupants shelled Bilozerka in Kherson region, injuring three people. Among the victims are two children aged 15 and 16 who sustained explosive and brain injuries, as well as a 21-year-old man with a neck injury.
