Law enforcement agencies, as part of nationwide measures to expose illegal border crossing schemes, have blocked another 11 channels for illegal transfer of persons liable for military service abroad. This was reported by the press service of the National Police of Ukraine, reports UNN.

For two days, migration police officers, in cooperation with investigators, conducted almost 200 searches. The criminals were exposed in Lviv, Chernivtsi, Chernihiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions: they used various criminal "schemes" to travel abroad.
This includes fictitious passage of a military medical commission with subsequent receipt of medical reports for removal from military registration, entering into fictitious marriages with women with disabilities, creating a sole proprietorship for international transportation, etc. During the searches, law enforcement officers discovered and seized 120,000 dollars, more than 22,000 euros, 240,000 hryvnias, and other currency.
Computers, telephones, fake medical documentation, narcotic drugs, weapons and ammunition, and a night vision device were also discovered and seized. 22 defendants received suspicion under Art. 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal transfer of persons across the state border of Ukraine).

In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, a forestry worker and a resident of the border area were detained. They illegally transported evaders abroad for 5 thousand dollars.
