President Zelensky joined Ukrainian Jewish leaders to light Hanukkah candles, emphasizing the holiday's message of spiritual strength and victory.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, together with representatives of the Jewish clergy of Ukraine, took part in a Hanukkah candle lighting ceremony on the occasion of the beginning of the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah. This was reported by the press service of the head of state, according to UNN.

Chief Rabbi of Dnipro Shmuel Kaminetsky lit the large central candle of Hanukkah and said a blessing in Hebrew. After that, a single lamp was lit on the Hanukkah table.

At the same time, Rabbi Meyer Stambler, Chairman of the Council of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Ukraine, also noted that the main message of Hanukkah is to tell the world about miracles.

For his part, Volodymyr Zelenskyy congratulated the Jewish community on Hanukkah.
