An officer of the russian national guard is suspected of firing at cars in Gostomel, killing 11 civilians and wounding 15 others, following orders to kill civilians.

An officer of the russian national guard who participated in the shooting of civilian cars in Gostomel has been identified. This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General, UNN reports.

A deputy platoon commander of a special forces unit of the russian national guard in krasnoyarsk region was served a notice of suspicion of violating the laws and customs of war. According to the investigation, in occupied Gostomel, the suspect and his colleagues received an order from their commander to kill civilians.

In particular, on February 25, 2022, he shot at a civilian car moving along Shevchenko Street in the direction of Bucha with small arms. The prosecutor's office clarifies that the driver of the vehicle received numerous gunshot wounds, but later managed to escape.

In total, the detachment's servicemen were involved in the shooting of 12 vehicles in Gostomel, killing 11 civilians and wounding 15
