Kyiv police convinced a man who had threatened to detonate a grenade at home to surrender; the grenade turned out to be a training grenade, and firearms were also found in the apartment.
In the Kyiv region, law enforcement officers persuaded a man who threatened to blow up a grenade at home to surrender. This was reported by the National Police of Ukraine, according to UNN.

The special line "102" received a report that a local resident was threatening to blow himself up during a conflict situation. His wife and 30-year-old son were also in the house.
Law enforcement officers from the Vyshhorod Police Department in Kyiv region immediately arrived at the scene and began negotiations with the 51-year-old man. The law enforcement officers persuaded the man to voluntarily hand over the ammunition to specialists
However, after a thorough examination, law enforcement officers found that the grenade was a training grenade.

Also, during the inspection of the scene, firearms were found in the house. The police are currently working at the scene. The issue of providing legal qualification of the incident is being resolved.
