The Zhytomyr region came under a Russian attack overnight, with fires breaking out at a critical infrastructure facility and one of the private enterprises, Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration Head Vitalii Bunechko and the regional State Emergency Service department reported on Friday, UNN writes.
The Zhytomyr region was again hit by enemy drones. This time, a critical infrastructure facility and a civilian enterprise were affected by the shelling. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties or injuries as a result of the enemy strikes
The regional State Emergency Service department said that "as a result of the enemy attack, fires broke out at a critical infrastructure facility and one of the private enterprises. Dry grass also caught fire."
As reported, rescuers promptly extinguished all the fires. At the sites of the enemy strikes, State Emergency Service pyrotechnicians surveyed the area for explosive objects.
