Zelenskyy met with Pashinyan during the first visit to Armenia in 24 years. They discussed security challenges and the restoration of economic cooperation in Kyiv.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that he met with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the sidelines of the summit in Yerevan and proposed to resume the work of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation with a meeting in Kyiv as early as this year, UNN reports.

"Good meeting with the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan. Thank you for the invitation to the European Political Community summit. This is the first visit of a President of Ukraine to Armenia in the last 24 years. It is important that we are restoring an active dialogue between our countries," Zelenskyy stated on social media on Monday.

According to him, the parties "discussed the situation in the region and security challenges and threats." "I informed about the diplomatic work to achieve a real peace," the President noted.
