President of Ukraine meets with Lithuanian Prime Minister Gintautas Palutskas on military cooperation. Lithuania annually allocates 0.25% of GDP to Ukraine's defense needs.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed military cooperation with Lithuanian Prime Minister Gintautas Palutskas, namely the need to strengthen air defense to protect energy facilities in Ukraine, UNN reports.

"During the meeting with Lithuanian Prime Minister Gintautas Palutskas, we discussed military cooperation, namely the need to strengthen our air defense to protect energy facilities.

Thank you for Lithuania's consistency in strong support and comprehensive assistance to Ukraine. Your assistance is an important contribution to our struggle for a just and lasting peace. We appreciate the annual allocation of 0.25% of the country's GDP for the defense and security needs of our country," Zelenskyy said.

According to him, the new Lithuanian government visited Ukraine for the first time in its entirety immediately after its appointment, and this is a clear priority of Lithuania for the alliance between our countries.
