Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Thursday that he had arrived in the United Kingdom to participate in the summit of the European Political Community, bilateral meetings and signing new security agreements, UNN reports.
For the fourth time, the countries of the European space are gathering at the European Political Community Summit to discuss common themes and challenges. I have arrived in the UK to participate in the summit, hold bilateral meetings with partners, and sign new security agreements.
According to him, a separate program is dedicated to Ukraine's relations with the UK. "I will meet with His Majesty King Charles III, Prime Minister Keir Starmer, government officials, heads of defense companies," Zelenskyy said.
The President announced the signing of an intergovernmental agreement to support the Ukrainian defense industry, discuss future defense cooperation and expand our defense capabilities.
"Since the first days of the full-scale invasion, the UK has been one step ahead in its determination to support Ukraine. This is the kind of determination we need to stop Russian terror," Zelenskyy emphasized.
The photo released by the President shows the new ambassador of Ukraine in London, Valery Zaluzhny, who was previously the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
