Weather forecasters warn of worsening weather conditions - strong gusts of wind are expected, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported on Monday, UNN reports.

"On December 17, wind gusts of 15-20 m/s are expected throughout Ukraine, except for Transcarpathia. Hazard level I, yellow," the agency said on social media.
Unless absolutely necessary, it is advised not to go outside, not to walk near power lines and billboards. Drivers and pedestrians are urged to be as careful as possible on the roads and follow traffic rules.
It is also reported that today and tomorrow, due to snowfalls and blizzards, a significant avalanche hazard is expected in the highlands of the eastern part of the Transcarpathian region - level 3.
