According to Iranian state media, the strikes targeted facilities near the city of Sirik in Hormozgan province. As a result of the attack, the water supply to the Bamani district, located near the city, was cut off.
CNN reports that it has reached out to the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) for comment, but no official response regarding the information on the damage to water infrastructure has been received yet.
