Special Representative for Ukraine's Economic Recovery Penny Pritzker is planning a visit to Romania to discuss Bucharest's assistance to Kyiv. This was reported by UNN with reference to the US State Department.

It is noted that Pritzker is on a European tour to discuss options for helping Ukraine with her partners. In particular, on April 1, the US special representative visited Chisinau, on April 2 she is in Lviv, and on April 3 she will go to Bucharest.
In Bucharest, the US Special Representative is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu, as well as other government officials and business representatives. The parties are expected to discuss Romania's contribution to regional cooperation, including emergency assistance to Ukraine in the energy sector, as well as the long-term benefits of infrastructure investment in Romania and Ukraine

The agency said that during her visit to Moldova , Special Representative Pritzker met with President Maia Sandu, Prime Minister Dorin Recean and representatives of the private sector.
The two sides discussed bilateral cooperation in Ukraine's economic recovery. They also discussed the importance of economic integration between the EU and the Western Black Sea region, as well as the role of Moldova as a platform for Ukraine's recovery, which could be of great benefit to both countries.
