The leaders of the United States, Egypt and Qatar have called on Israel and Hamas to meet for talks on August 15 to conclude a ceasefire and hostage release agreement in the Gaza Strip. This was reported by Reuters, according to UNN.

In a joint statement, the leaders of the three countries that tried to mediate the agreement said that the talks could take place either in Doha or Cairo.
The Framework Agreement is on the table, and the only thing left to do is to agree on the details of its implementation. There is no more time to waste and no more excuses for further delays to any party. The time has come to release the hostages, start the ceasefire, and implement the agreement,
They also proposed to present a "final interim proposal" that would resolve the remaining issues.
The statement was part of an effort by the three leaders to start talks amid fears of a possible wider conflict in the region involving Iran following the assassination last week of senior members of the Hamas and Hezbollah militant groups.
