The "Vidnovys" (Recover) project of the Vadym Stolar Charity Foundation has been implemented for over four years, reaching 2,500 families during this time. The new stage took place in a picturesque spot near the village of Sil, in the heart of Zakarpattia. Families with children spent a week at the "Edelweiss" tourist complex, located within the Uzhansky National Nature Park.
Within the framework of the project, low-income IDP families and families who lost their homes due to the war receive psychological and emotional support in one of the scenic and safe locations in Ukraine.
"We are continuing the 'Vidnovys' project because we are convinced: support for Ukrainian families living under difficult trials must be constant. Restoring emotional well-being and the opportunity to feel care and safety is very important for our people today. That is why at 'Vidnovys' we create a space where families with children can forget about anxieties, even if only for a short while, and find the resources for their future lives. By supporting those who remain in Ukraine now, we help them maintain resilience, self-belief, and confidence in the future," said Nataliia Prykhodko, a volunteer for the Vadym Stolar Foundation.
It is worth noting that "Vidnovys" is not just a vacation. Specialized professionals work with parents and children: psychologists, art therapists, and animators. In addition to working with specialists, during the 11th stage, as always, there was plenty of entertainment for the little ones—the Foundation team organized themed holidays, concerts, interesting competitions, and excursions.
"The 'Vidnovys' project is our contribution to the mental health of the nation. We understand that the future of Ukraine depends on how well we can support families with children affected by the war today. Therefore, we strive to help them find the internal resource and strength to move forward," said the Foundation's founder Vadym Stolar.
