The meeting will precede talks between US and Russian delegations scheduled for Monday.
It is noted that the Ukrainian delegation will be headed by Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov.
The agency reported that Ukrainian officials stressed that they consider this meeting in Riyadh to be purely technical.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Georgiy Tykhyi said that both sides plan to "clarify the modalities, nuances of possible different ceasefire regimes, how to monitor them, how to control them, in general, what is included in their scope."
