Ukraine has managed to return 1275 Ukrainian children from Russia and temporarily occupied territories. This was announced by the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets on the air of the telethon, UNN reports.

The Ombudsman stated that, in his opinion, Russia only understands the language of force.
This is additional pressure on Russia, these are additional sanctions directly on those who took and continue to take part in the illegal deportation (of children - ed.) and violation of other rights. Russians also forcibly passportize Ukrainian children, forcibly try to militarize, change the self-identification of children
He stressed that there are all grounds to legally record that the Russians are committing a war crime - genocide.
One of the signs of genocide is the forced transfer of children from one ethnic group to another

On April 2, it became known that Ukraine managed to return 11 more Ukrainian children from the temporarily occupied territories and the territory of Russia.
On April 9, it was reported that within the framework of the Bring Kids Back UA initiative of the President of Ukraine, it was possible to return six more Ukrainian children from the temporarily occupied territories. Among them is a 16-year-old boy.
