In the play-off for promotion to League A, we will play against Belgium. On March 20, 2025, we will host the opponent at home, and on the 23rd, we will play away.
According to the regulations, in the play-offs for places in League A of the 2026/2027 cycle, the third-placed teams of League A groups and the second-placed teams of League B groups will meet. The latter, including Ukraine, will play their first matches at home. The matches are scheduled for March 20 and 23, 2025. Thus, the team will play against Belgium in a two-match confrontation.
The Ukrainian national team has met the Belgian team, which became its opponent in the UEFA Nations League 2024/2025 play-offs for places in Division A next season, once in history and drew with them nil-nil.
In the group stage of the LN-2024/2025, the Belgians played in Quartet A2 and showed the following results: Belgium — Israel — 3:1, France — Belgium — 2:0, Italy — Belgium — 2:2, Belgium — France — 1:2, Belgium — Italy — 0:1, Israel — Belgium — 1:0.
