The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine appealed to the IAEA to check the situation at the Zaporizhzhia NPP after the accident at its diesel reservoir. This was announced by the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Georhiy Tykhyi, during a press conference, the correspondent of UNN reported.
We appealed to the IAEA with a request to check the situation, explain the consequences of the accident through a commission that is directly located on the territory of the occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP. We are waiting for reports from the IAEA on this matter now
The spokesman drew attention to the fact that similar cases may continue to occur at the Zaporizhzhia NPP, which was warned to IAEA representatives.
We are also discussing with the IAEA that similar cases will continue to occur at the Zaporizhzhia NPP, given that the works at the Zaporizhzhia NPP are carried out by unauthorized unlicensed personnel
He also added that Ukraine is working with the IAEA to release employees of the Zaporizhzhia NPP who are in Russian captivity.

On March 27, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine received a message about damage to a diesel reservoir at the occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP.
"We received a message about damage to a diesel reservoir at the Zaporizhzhia NPP occupied by Russia. There was enough spilled fuel to power the station's emergency generators for 25 days," Tykhyi wrote.
The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that "the Russians not only stole the station, but are also unable to ensure its basic safety".
