On Tuesday, the Ukrainian military reportedly used US-made long-range missiles for the first time to strike at russian territory. They were used to attack a military facility in the bryansk region in southwestern russia. The russian defense ministry also said in a statement that Kyiv used six long-range ballistic missiles known as the Army Tactical Missile System (ATAKSM). Senior U.S. and Ukrainian officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, confirmed that ATACMS were used.

On November 19, the 67th arsenal of the russian armed forces in the bryansk region was hit. The warehouse stored military weapons, including artillery ammunition from the DPRK, KABs, anti-aircraft missiles, and MLRS ammunition. The damage was confirmed by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. There were 12 secondary explosions and detonations in the target area.
