Trump rejected Tehran's proposal and demands a new non-nuclear deal. Iran is preparing a revised plan amid communication issues with the country's Supreme Leader.

U.S. President Donald Trump warned Iran that it "better get smart fast," UNN reports.

Iran can't get its act together. They don't know how to sign a nuclear-free deal. They better get smart fast

- Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform, posting an edited image of himself holding a gun and referring to a "nuclear-free deal."

Pakistan expects to receive a revised proposal from Iran in the coming days, CNN sources report meanwhile.

This comes after U.S. President Donald Trump stated he would not accept the previous version of the Iranian proposal submitted last weekend, which called for ending the war first and then addressing the more complex issues related to Iran's nuclear program.

Sources report that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi was expected to return to Tehran the day before following a visit to Russia, adding that he is expected to consult with regime leaders. This process is moving slowly, sources say, due to difficulties in communicating with Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, whose location is being kept secret.

Sources said the process is ongoing and dynamic, and much will depend on whether Iran returns with a revised proposal that is more acceptable to the U.S.
