This process is moving slowly, sources say, due to difficulties in communicating with Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, whose location is being kept secret.
Sources said the process is ongoing and dynamic, and much will depend on whether Iran returns with a revised proposal that is more acceptable to the U.S.
