President Donald Trump stated that the US has held very good talks with Iran over the past 24 hours, UNN reports citing CNN.
"We are in a good position," Trump told reporters in the Oval Office on Wednesday. "We are doing well right now, and we have to get what we want. If we don't, we'll have to take a big step forward. But at the same time, they want to make a deal."
"It's quite possible that we will make a deal," he added.

When asked if there is a deadline for a response from Iran regarding the latest US proposal, Trump hinted at an indefinite timeframe. "There's never a deadline; it'll happen. It'll happen, but there's never a deadline," he said.
Trump also stated that Iran has agreed to his main demand — no nuclear weapons.
"Iran cannot have nuclear weapons, and they won't, and they have agreed to that, among other things," the US President said, although there is currently no information on exactly what Iran has or has not agreed to.
