Traffic on the road crossing at the Dnipro hydroelectric power plant dam, which was restricted due to the Russian attack, has been fully restored. On Thursday, March 28, the traffic pattern from one bank of Zaporizhzhia to the other via bridge crossings will be changed so that residents do not get stuck in traffic jams. This was announced on Tuesday by the head of Zaporizhzhia RMA Ivan Fedorov, reports UNN.
"As of today, traffic through DniproHES has been restored. Just today we held a meeting with the utility companies and the patrol police in Zaporizhzhia. On Thursday, the traffic pattern from one bank to the other across the bridge crossings in Zaporizhzhia will be changed to improve the situation, despite the fact that the enemy has destroyed half of the Dnipro hydroelectric power plant. We will do our best to avoid traffic jams for our residents," said the head of Zaporizhzhia RMA.
Fedorov added that it will take "a long time" to restore the DniproHES itself, as the enemy has completely destroyed the generation there.
