During the past day, August 8, there were 231 combat engagements at the front. Russian occupiers launched one missile strike using seven missiles and 75 airstrikes, during which they dropped 269 guided aerial bombs. This was reported by UNN, citing the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The invaders also deployed 10,284 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,137 attacks on settlements and positions of the Defense Forces.
The enemy shelled the settlements of Korenok, Bachivsk, Sopych, Tovstodubove, Atynske, Bezzalivka, Ryzhivka, Potapivka, Ulanove in Sumy region; Naberezhne and Yanzhulivka in Chernihiv region.
Over the past day, the aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces struck eight areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, four artillery systems and four control posts for unmanned aerial vehicles.
On the North Slobozhanskyi and Kursk fronts, Ukrainian defenders stopped five enemy assaults over the past day. At the same time, the enemy launched three airstrikes using eight guided aerial bombs and carried out 54 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements, including two using multiple launch rocket systems.
On the South Slobozhanskyi front, Ukrainian units repelled 19 enemy attacks. The invaders attempted to advance near the settlements of Lyman, Starytsia, Synelnykove and Artilne, and toward the settlements of Izbytske, Ternova, Okhrimivka, Volokhivka, Pokaliane and Khatnie.
On the Kupiansk front, the enemy launched nine offensive actions toward the settlements of Kivsharivka, Myrne and Radkivka.
Attempts to break into our defenses were repelled on the Lyman front, where the occupiers attacked 12 times toward the settlements of Drobysheve, Stavky, Ozerne and Lyman, and near the settlements of Karpivka, Zarichne, Novomykhailivka and Novoselivka.
On the Sloviansk front, the enemy carried out 15 assault actions near the settlements of Zakitne, Kryva Luka and Riznykivka, and toward Piskunivka, Mykolaivka and Rai-Oleksandrivka.
On the Kramatorsk front, the occupiers attacked three times near Malynivka and toward Yurkivka.
Twenty-four attacks were recorded on the Kostiantynivka front. The invaders conducted assault actions near the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Illinivka and Stepanivka, and toward Osikove, Dolha Balka and Mykolaipillia.
The enemy carried out 29 attacks on the Pokrovsk front. The occupiers attempted to advance near the settlements of Novooleksandrivka, Udachne and Muravka, and toward the settlements of Novyi Donbas, Shevchenko and Serhiivka.
On the Oleksandrivka front, the invaders carried out two attacks near Zlahoda.
On the Huliaipole front, the occupiers attacked 14 times. The enemy attempted to advance toward the settlements of Rizdvianka, Vozdvyzhivka, Tsvitkove, Hirke, Staroukrainka, Rivne and Charivne.
On the Orikhiv front, our defenders stopped two attempts by the enemy to advance toward Prymorske and Stepnohirsk.
The enemy conducted no assault actions on the Dnipro front over the past day.
Over the past day, Russian invader losses amounted to 1,130 personnel. Also destroyed or neutralized were two tanks, four armored combat vehicles, 41 artillery systems, four multiple launch rocket systems, nine ground-based robotic systems, 1,642 unmanned aerial vehicles, 358 vehicles and one piece of special equipment belonging to the enemy.
