In the temporarily occupied Luhansk, 1,500 medical positions are vacant. In Lutuhyne district, people have been without water for two days in the heat of the day due to repair work, but it is unknown when it will be completed. This is stated in the report of the Luhansk RMA, reports UNN.
"More than 1,500 medical positions are vacant in the 'LPR'. The 'republic' is in dire need of specialized medical specialists: rheumatologists, pulmonologists, endocrinologists," the statement said.
As noted, general practitioners are also needed: therapists and surgeons.
The occupiers also reportedly announced the overhaul of three pumping stations and two water pipelines in Lysychansk, where people have been living without centralized water supply for three years.
"The main thing is not to end up like in Lutuhyne district, where people have been left without water in 38-degree heat since yesterday. It is not known when the water pipeline will be repaired, but it is known that there will be no water supply," the RMA said.
In combination with low-quality products on the shelves, the situation can have quite predictable consequences, the RMA pointed out.

The RMA also stated that the Russian occupiers had allegedly "taken control" of prices for consumer goods in the Luhansk region. The so-called "ministry" of the invaders reported that more than a thousand individual entrepreneurs had "voluntarily" limited the trade margin on their goods. In reality, according to the RMA, people are simply unable to buy the essentials, as prices are even higher than Russian prices, and two to three times higher than Ukrainian prices.

As for the security situation, according to the Luhansk RMA, Nevske and Makiivka have been under heavy fire for two days. The enemy fired 88 times at these localities yesterday: 34 times with artillery, 52 times with the use of UAVs. Nevske, where people still live, was shelled twice from multiple rocket launchers.
It is also reported that despite the danger, a working group of the Krasnorichensk civil defense administration delivered a week's supply of bread to local residents and to neighboring Novolyubivka.
